Dems Mum on Nagin-Farrakhan Summit

Top Democrats who blasted President Bush for bungling the Hurricane Katrina crisis declined to comment on Wednesday on Nation of Islam chief Louis Farrakhan's (anti-semite) claim that New Orleans Mayor Ray Nagin gave him key evidence suggesting his city's levees may have been blown up. -- (parentheses mine)

You can't understand how the media would lynch Brown, yet not cover Nagin's proclamation that he has evidence that the levees were blown up as part of a conspiracy by the white man?...I would consider that at least sensational enough to merit half the coverage Robertson got for his comments about the dictator Chavez.

Silly as it sounds, it is true that Farrakhan said that the levees were deliberately blown up to exterminate the blacks in the poor inner cities of New Orleans. You can't make this stuff up!!

There should be a crator in front of the hole. There must be someone on this board full of engineers that has studied flow dynamics. Anytime several billion gallons of water are trying to escape thru the same small hole I would imagine the surface below must get stirred up and sucked out with the out going water

Really, what is running through your head when you find (go searching for?) a racially charged photo like that and post it with a selective quote from an article with only one salient fact:

Farrakhan is a racist, which is neither here nor there, because what matters is that Nagin didn't "infer a plot to kill black folks".

From reading that article, the most he did was fail to spot the opportunity to shut Farrakhan up.

So why doesn't the media ask Nagin what he thinks about Farrakhan's statements?...They sure weren't shy about asking Bush about Robertson's statements?...Nagin left Farrakhan with the impression that there was a suspicious hole, Farrakhan, never at a loss for racist words, I am sure must have had a dialogue at the moment Nagin made his comments...In the interest of clarity it would make sense the media ask him about this.

They do not, further supporting charges of media bias.

True, Nagin just told Farrakhan that he saw a CRATER in one of the levees...now last I checked CRATERS are usually made by things that go boom in the night. Did Nagin mean to give Farrakhan a reason to jump off the deep end...nah...he would never do that.

Speaking of Nagin, anyone else wonder why he is such a hurry to get citizens back into New Orleans when the Army Corps of Engineers wants him to wait until it is more safe? He already had to re-evacuate once. Just curious.
