Palms sweaty, butterflies fluttering. Oh, this is going to be a good day!

Think back to sometime when you were very excited about an upcoming event. Kind of like a new car arrival or attending a track event or moving into a new house. Heck, maybe even the birth of your kid.

Made some coffee, made breakfast for my daughter, cleaned the kitchen, fed the dog, put up a new thread.

Ain't saying right now, but let's just say I woke up early and ready to go. Another thread and pictures later. :D :D

I'm ready!

Vipergrün 09-30-2005 08:03 AM

I'll bet SOMEONE is going to the track :)

VaSteve 09-30-2005 08:14 AM

Use the restroom at home. The ones at the track are #1 only.

Unless you go in your car.

Have fun!

DonDavis 09-30-2005 08:28 AM

Not a track day.

Dantilla 09-30-2005 08:32 AM

Let's see...... You're in Arizona.

The temp is finally in double digits, and you get to wear long pants today?

KevinP73 09-30-2005 08:35 AM

Is today the arrival of a new Porsche?

still sound advice.

i used to ride enduros (motorcycle race event), the line and the bouquet at/in the blue boxes in the morning were the worst. lucky for me i was in my ealry 20's and could hold my breath getting in and out rather quickly. today being nearly 40 i need a bit more time in the morning to get things moved around and finish my paper work.

I have not posted anything on the "What Do You Do" thread, but most of you know I am a labor relations guy. Labor relations is not for the feignt of heart. It's like going over backwards in a chair on two legs....all the time. Bluffing and brinksmanship. Testosterone and money. Dodging bullets and capturing ground. My psychologist understands me. I'm an emotional bungee jumper. I'd do this job even if they quit paying me. I can't remember the last time I didn't want to come to work.

Hmmmm.... somebody getting their car back with a BIG HONKIN' engine in it?

...or maybe a first solo flight?

...or maybe a skydive?

}{arlequin 09-30-2005 09:46 AM

he's been doing the "resto" of that '72 for a while now.... i'm guessing he'll be firing up a bigger, new-to-him motor as the final step before the car is "finished"

maybe another one is getting into guns?

going to see a new movie?

? I love my wife dearly. Ok, I'll stop calling you dearly.

No waiting period for personal sales.

nostatic 09-30-2005 03:01 PM

I thought my name was Shirley...

Joeaksa 09-30-2005 03:56 PM

Assume that everyone notices that he is not answering the question.

If we just stop replying to this thread he will finally either have the prostrate exam, his wife will take care of him, get the .45 Kimber that he has been drooling over or tell us what is going on...

Done yet? Well, hurry up and take pictures so I can use them for reference when I do mine :)

Joeaksa 10-01-2005 07:46 AM

Shuie,

Baton Rouge is not THAT FAR from Phoenix, get on over here and lend a hand. That way you can see how it goes and when you are ready am almost sure that Don will drive over and lend a hand with your transplant!
