my sister is a pain in the ass.

she isnt greedy at all. but she definately has visions of grandieur. she talked my parents into giving her a 1982 jeep scrambler. i basically brought the car back from the grave. it was in an accident, and i did the body work (easy on a jeep, just get new panels), rebuilt the motor, ...it runs pretty damn good, but it is an eyesore. i was gonna do a full frame off restore and give it back to my stepdad, but she wants it for herself. oh, to save money, i didnt rebuild the head. i was poor. i do notice some blowby now.

some history, my sister bought a early t-bird, took the steering wheel off, never could get it back on, let the car sit for 11 years, and then abandoned the car. it ran great when she bought it. i feel she is gonna do the same with this jeep. oh well, it certianly is my parents stuff, and they could do whatever. but i think she guilted them a bit. i already have parts for it. i guess i just forward them to her. i dont really want it, because i dont want to try to smog two vehicles forever. say bye

thanks for the vent.

Forward the parts?

What, do you owe her some favors? Find a Jeep forum and sell em...

Its Bush's fault. He lured her to the dark side...

She's your sister. You do **** like that for family. Let it go, but get ready to pounce on the Scrambler when she abandons it.

I see good old sibling rivalry is alive and well.
I have an older sister by 3 years that destroyed any meaningful friendship we could of had over the years.

What a waste. I would have loved to have had a lifelong friendship with my only sister.

Call your sister and tell her if she needs any help with the old jeep to give you a call. That jeep will be long gone someday but your sister will be your sister till the day you die

I'll trade you my sister for that scrambler. They both look like they have the same mileage on them.

Yea but you cannot retread or get new parts for the sister... well, for the most part that is!

Bring her to Scottsdale, we might work a trade over here!

Assuming she is single (since you are fixing her car)...hook her up with one of the liberals that post on Pelican. Most have mechanical skills (fix her stuff) and most are kinda whiney and like to be pushed around by women. A match made in heaven.

Whatever makes you think it was political? It was a valid suggestion.

Clearly he would not want his sister to date a conservative. It has been oft reported here that they are poor, sexist, racist, ignorant nascar watching rednecks that live in red states in mobile homes(some are even in the military!)...,you surely would not set one of them up with your sister.

Flint,

Do I have to move, give up all my money and toys and stop watching Formula One for NASCAR now?
