I'm in Atlanta tonight...what to do?

I have a meeting at 2 tomorrow...so the morning is open. I'm looking at the Fox Theatre out my hotel window...Anyone have an idea as to what I should do in the morning?

You could head north a bit to Buckhead. Always seems to be some club-type action going onn there.

Also, the top of the Westin Hotel is a place called The Sundial. Order a drink or two, maybe a nice desert and take in an aerial view of the city. Signs on the wall explain explain the sights of interest in all direction. It;s a clear night, should make for an excellent view.

Manuel's Tavern. At the corner of North Ave. and N. Highland. Lots of atmosphere. Not in Buckhead.

Any more silly questions?

Gold club is closed due to the old prostitution stings.

You could check out Olympic park or take the CNN tour. Those are things to do in the Morning!!

I did not feel safe at Atlanta Underground. I was on full alert watching my back the whole time I walked around there, and that was during the day. 1 Block South of Atlanta Underground is the ghetto, I would avoid AU.

Atlanta downtown isn't even a realy city. It is dead on the weekends and in the evening its pretty quiet. There are some clubs but for the most part its a strange city. Not what I am used to downtown wise.

The tip to go to the sundial was probably the best one. I think they have a bar there I am not sure, the restruant is good. The view is amazing.

AU has lost it's appeal for many reasons...

Head a bit north (Roswell) to Cafe 290 or the Comedy Club(across the parking lot) for a good safe time....

How about the Clarmont. The girls aren't too attractive but they have lots of character and it's an interesting place to visit, once.
