I bet if I married Cool Chick she would make me a sammich without even asking provided I give her the doe eyes when she starts ranting politic - could be a fair trade...then again that better be one good sammich...come to think about it, maybe not a fair trade at all.

No, I would make you a sammich as a partner....as well, you would make me a sammich as a partner...

That's just how it is...the one is tired, the other helps out.

As far as the "politic doe eye", well you know you would lose...I read too damn much...

There is an inventory management theory 'first-in, first-out', that when changed slightly, explains your political knowledge -- "crap-in, crap-out".

PT Barnum said what?

No, first of all, it takes being firmly rooted in reality. Secondly, it takes looking at "conspiracy theories" and determining how plausable they are...now granted, I can realistically see how some are true, but the vast majority of the right conspiracies....it is not logical.

Trust me, I'm not "left" or "right" in thinking, I'm solely analytical...to a fault.....I possess a scientific mind.....it first and foremost has to make logical sense.

Sorry for bursting your "libbbbeeeerrrrraaaaalllllll blanket bubble.

For once I agree with U Polish Chicky...or should I start calling you Stella....(ask your Buddy... Lubby what that means, he should remember). Most people are stupid enough to buy into this "Civilized" horse manure. LA in 1992 and NO in 2005 should disuade you from thinking your "civilized"

Cool sorry to burst your BUBBLE but your anything but "ANALYTICAL" ...U proved that on this thread....you became emotional and reactive...but do not feel so all alone 99% of the respondents on this Board react the same way. U slap them they slap back without thinking....

Only Rodeo nearly caught me today, and I got LUCKY and was able to hit the ball back...with my rejoinder....LOL...But I have always bin lucky that way....huh Nostatus?

And a "Scientific Mind" alot of good that will do you when the bottom drops out from under U. Then it just becomes a matter of how well you can roll with the punches.

I KNOW. Why do you guys think I'm taking this seriously?

And that's the menu of choice for Tab's buffet runs....

Edit: I do admit I'm a little bummed though that the thread is dead.....it was interesting the comments people were adding....

I especually took note of the one which is an interesting observation: when one party is in power, the other suddenly becomes "fiscal" while the other spends....

It's true and it totally blows the "fiscal party" and "spend party" myths away. They both spend like drunken sailors.

Yep, we're off the subject but I understand completely what Cool was hoping to discuss. She wanted a discourse. She wanted a dialectic (Thesis - Antithesis - Synthesis). Open-minded discourse is immensely entertaining and productive.

But she was expecting not to get it. She was expecting what we always get here from folks like Mul. Distraction - Deflection - Disrepsect. At least at this point in Mul's life he (or she) cannot possibly recognize an open-minded, rational discourse. And he (or she) will do anything to ensure it does not take place.

So yeah, I like a good debate, between respectful and well-read critical thinkers. I can't explain why I chat here, though. Well, yeah, sometimes we have good discussions. There are a couple of good, critical thinkers here who lean very hard to the right. Very curious to me, that combination. To Mul, leaning toward analytical thought equals liberal fanaticism.

Oh, and nobody makes a samwitch nearly as good as I do. So, I'll continue to make my own samwitches. Anybody want a samwitch. I'll make you a dandy. My office, every day around noon. Parts for samwitches, chips, cookies, fruit. Come one come all.

Your being emotional in this statement....thats where....It's a controled anger type of thing...otherwise you wouldn't be so blatantly be dising me like this... if you were thinking instead of reacting something far more intelligent would have appeared..ahhh....U are intelligent aren't U?

tabs 10-06-2005 02:03 AM

Now wait a minute...you're all upset about the instant potatoes, canned corn comment? It was a joke in reference to buffets. Talk about emotional!

I am just a sensative guy... I admit it....When I saw the movie Moulin Rouge I cried, because it was such a sad love story.
