Why would our vote matter in a weight loss contest? :confused:

Try going from the main page www.wptv.com and click the links to the "Biggest Local Loser". I'm not certain the value in the voting part either, other than it get's people to visit the site and look at the web-site advertising.... but in order to win she has to has the most votes, lose her weight and keep her doctor appointments....

I type with 2 fingers, which in a way makes it a POINTING exercise. And when I vote, I feel that I'm giving someone encouragement to lose weight. And as long as both hands are typing on the keyboard, I'm not stuffing Oreo's in my mouth. Whew... can someone hand me a towel?
