Katrina Evacuee wins big at the slots!
Just saw this on NBC. A lady who had to evacuate her home in LA (and returned home to find it damaged) just won big on the slots. I did not catch how much she won or where the casino was.
Looks like the hurricane didn't affect her too badly and she has returned to her regular routine.

Probably was gambling with the $2k Federal debit card given to evacuees... Whoopee! What a heartwarming story...
