Hockey debacle
Well, NHL hockey is back and I'm feeling less than enthusiastic about it. It's been gone for 1 1/2 seasons? and I can't remember what the original problem was...
who was at fault for this? I felt the same when baseball came back after the player's strike....

The owners just couldn't afford the players any more. A good number of teams actually lost less money by not playing.

The NHL has sucked for at least a decade now. Myself, I like the Wild Goose League where there's just as many fights in the stands as on the ice - that's old-time hockey!

.... I am actually looking forward to this season.
The games so far have been quite good. A few subtle rule changes have improved a few issues.
