My daughter told me of a young fellow who lost $800 (a lot of money for this young fella) on a Superbowl bet. Next day he was evicted. That night he proposed to the girl he had been dating for years and she said "no."

The only scenario I can picture where a woman would say no, is if she is already paying for all the bills her self.

Every single one I have ever proposed to since 1977 has said yes.
I stopped doing that in 1992, and have been happily single ever since.
