if you plan on attending ERAU or UND i can give you a few tips and hints...PM me and i can help wade though the useless misinformation the admissions office's spews...

Not sure if you want to work on aircraft or fly them... but...
weather\ general systems knowledge helps.. but it depends on where you want to go..
its hard to really focus a degree like this.... the goal is to produce a well rounded sky-bus-driver... most of the real "for your job" training comes from ground-school and your flight instructors... and a handful of technical class's

if you want to get into one of the aero schools... the single most important thing to do is get your private pilots license.. in doing this you will prove to the school and find out yourself if playing around in the clouds is what you really want to do..

I started in a 172 when i was 16..... im hooked!
