A reply to this message is not necessary.

Ooooh, that's irritating. Presumably "is not necessary" is codewords for "will be ignored".

You guys should complain bitterly, that show is great. I'm ready, 7.30pm New Zealand time every Sunday :D

I am personally going to email. I love that show... I say we all send a barrage of emails. That should send a clear message.

CJFusco 10-13-2005 07:47 PM

i hope you won't mind if i cross-post this on the 944 forum...

Filled out their little form... too bad it's set up on an autoreply.

CJFusco 10-14-2005 05:53 AM

No it's not on autoreply... I got a personalized reply, which contradicts Wayne's reply (looks like they needf to get their stories straight at Discovery):

The comment I got contradicts the one Wayne got:

"Thank you for contacting Discovery Channel. We appreciate you taking the
time to share your thoughts and concerns with us regarding “Top Gear.â€
Your comments will be forwarded to our program management and executives
and will be taken into consideration.

The "Top Gear" show was not "taken off the air" but rather ran its pattern.
It is being revamped for a U.S. audience and will return later this year.
Look for it in December.

So it isn't gone for good after all, apparently.

okay, maybe it's a slightly randomized auto-reply, because I got the same msg as you ;)
