finally something fun at work
 

Well after what seemed like 4 lifetimes of the same old crap day after day I got a pleasant surprise today.
I came into work to find a 1968 lotus super 7 replica waiting for me.
euro 1.6l with a 1.7 overbore 4spd car.
It was purchased by one of our regular customers.
I get to do some realy fun work on this puppy after I repair all the bad things on it. I got the front end all fixed up today and started on the custom trans mount. The origional was a real piece of work. Tomorrow after I re-hang the gastank i'll work on getting it to go not just move.
The funny thing is that the main structure is wood. Can't you just hear it now "hey ya'll lets run down to Home Depot and by a Lotus"

Morgan still makes the frame of some of their cars from wood.
