Should Vendors Be Allowed at the Ultimate Pelican Meet (UPM)?

What do you think?

If there looks like enough of us will not mind, I'm sure he would send a rep with a display to pitch some stuff - why not? After all.

I voted for the following: Yes, Provided They Have Some Free Junk to Give Away

Except for PP because Wayne said we can use the Bird in the shirt design...

Wayne would have to be our most honored guest (behind me of course). I've had a lot of respect for that guy for a lot of years. He can set up anything he likes, in my always humble opinion. Beyond Wayne though, I'd not want this to turn into a trade show or even a technical session. I think it should be mostly drinking and telling lies and eating. In that order. Of course, commerce is a powerful thing, but that's what the brothels are for. Who's gonna buy through-the-body sway bars when there are lies to be told, scotch to drink, crabs to eat and.....there's one other thing I can't remember.

With talk of tech sessions, track day, etc, there will be costs involved. You almost need to get sponsorship money, or attendees will need to be prepared to pay a registration fee above and beyond travel, hotel and food costs.

Maybe Steve Wong can talk chips, Widebody911 can show off his heater backdate ducts and JMPro can bring his replacement targa top. I know there are others here selling stuff so maybe they can chime in.
