Tabbys Gets a NEW TOY

LAAA TEEE DAAA.....I can't believe this...I told you all about LJs gun auction....and here is a little something I got...

Freedom Arms Model 83 22LR with 7.5 Barrel, with extra 22 WM cylinder, Leopold Scope Mount and Burris Scope in the box for $730 with buyers premium. Now I got shipping and Registration fees on this end.

http://www.freedomarms.com/ .....Go to Guns and then MDL 83 Rimfire....then go to Factory Installed Options and the price sheet.. Then tell me what kind of deal I swung here.. now...This is too fking easy....

Tabby, turn it over for a quick profit and get that 911 running. We expect it to be road worthy by the Pelican Vegas gathering.

Ohhh...and a friend of mine who has forgotten more than ANYONE on this Board will EVER KNOW about guns...says, "the FA 22LR is the most accurate Revolver on the planet"

Hetmann 10-25-2005 02:44 PM

Be careful not to accurately shoot yourself in the foot.

Crotchety old gun people say this kind of **** all the time. Ive never understood it. Why admit to forgetting a lot of uncomplicated stuff that hasnt changed in the last 50, or in a few rare cases, the last 100 years?

;)

I'm pretty sure I know a pretty large amount about firearms, calibers, cartridges, cleaning, reloading, casting, etc. etc.... but I'd never go anywhere and claim I know more than anyone else! There's always someone who knows more about something than I do.

Tabs - congrats! Nothing like a plan coming together huh?

tabs 10-25-2005 07:47 PM

Ahhhh...Lube being a Crotchety old fool....can you tell me one more time what the plan was?

M.D. Holloway 10-25-2005 07:50 PM

buy low - sell high, screw the rubes along the way...a model not quickly duplicated!

tabs 10-25-2005 07:54 PM

OHHHHH that plan.....stupid me....I always thought it was buy high sell low....

M.D. Holloway 10-25-2005 08:08 PM

no no - you git it confused with eat much and shat later, common mistake.

tabs 10-25-2005 11:55 PM

Excuse me Lube, now I remember telling U about my liitle scheme...So far I really have not delved into selling my newest little pets...but some of my old ones have found new homes recently...and I must say they find them quickly and for good renumeration.
