Well thats an interesting justification, and I can see where you're coming from, but it sounds like you're basing this on your personal belief.

So lets back to choice, because thats what this is all about right? You choose to believe that having gay feelings are wrong. You're not an animal, you've thought it out and its a choice you've made.

So what if, lets speculate, that gays choose to believe that gay feelings are not wrong... where does that leave your argument?

Matt, you are misunderstanding my point. In no way, shape or form am I trying to tell gay people that they are wrong and I am right. They have just as much right to live their lives in peace as anyone else and believe whatever they want to believe.

The point is that somehow I get labeled as a bigoted, intolerant, *****head for suggesting that it's ok for someone to choose to not shop at Wal-Mart because that corporation decided to give a million bucks to a homosexual organization or to think that my tax dollars should not go to support a gay organization. See?

Hey im no prude or goody-goody far from it, I just feel we are exposed to too much lurid and immoral crap in our everday lives. (And before you go off, i'm not saying being gay is immoral), just not my cup of tea. After all, I like nothing better than seein two(attractive) girls going at it, but i dont think it should be mainstreamed for everyone to see. Nor should my money go too support that lifestyle, male or female.
As for homosexuallity in schools, my wife is a teacher so I hear what is being taught in our schools. Most of the stuff makes me a big proponent of home schooling.

I truly believe the intolerant ones in this thread are the ones lashing out against McLaughlin and Nathan's Dad and Joe.

Did I see anywhere in this thread where these two men said they would physically harm gays because of this MTV-like program/channel? No. They stated, simply, that they would not watch the channel and boycott the products of those who sponsor the channel. That is tolerance, but as well exercising personal rights - just like what homosexuals want with their own lives.

Lashing out like this only galvanizes the anger inside people who are much more vehement against the gay lifestyle than McLaughlin or Nathan's Dad or Joe. Those individuals are powder kegs who kill homosexual men and women. One should be thankful that all these guys will do is not support the media and the sponsors of this channel.

Conversely, what many including those of alternative lifestyles do during the Apartheid era in South Africa. They divested/boycotted any company providing materials - whatever they may be - that might assist the South African government which supported Apartheid. Although circumstances cannot compare between Apartheid and a gay lifestyle channel, the overall action is the same: boycotting. What should be remembered is no one called the boycotters of Apartheid intolerant.
