Need info on bid sniping
I need to win an auction, and I won't be home to bid on it. Does anyone have experience using bid sniping software/websites? Do you reccommend any? How do they work?

I use http://auctionstealer.com
You register, plug the auction # and your top bid, and let it do the rest. It snipes @ 10s for free - if you want tighter sniping, you can pay a small fee. |
Great, I'm signed up. I hope I win.

Bid what you are willing to pay, not what you hope to get it for. That way you won't be sorry. As a note, google whatever it is you want, because it is on ebay does not mean it can not be found cheaper elswhere.

I use bidnip.com You can set it to put in your final bid at 3 seconds if you want.

I'm bidding on a little piece of local history from our small town. I will bid high and hope for the best.

Well, suppose the bid sniping service steals your password and uses it to make a bunch of bids. You can probably get eBay to void the bids by showing that the item was shipped to someone else's address. Even if you can't, you can simply refuse to honor the bids, shut down your eBay account, and open a new one.

I've used Auctionstealer for 2 years with no problems.
