Chrome/Brass plating in So. Cal.?
 

Seemed like this would be an easy find, but I can't find anyone!

This if for a bicycle frame.

What I really want is something like brass plating. Looks like chrome, but is gold/brass color instead of silver. I probably don't want true brass plating, because I don't want it to tarnish and have to polish it.

Probably a long shot, but anyone know of a place? Preferably in OC.

I used to get chrome & cadmium plating done at a couple of places in the S.D. area. They (I think all) were closed down about a year ago - environmental regulations. I've since heard some people are sending their things to Nevada. Good luck. If you find any, let the rest of us know. I did have some plating done at a place in El Cajon. Don't know if they do what you are looking for, but I know they did a lot of different kinds of plating. If you want the name, let me know & I'll dig it out.

El Monte Plating...out by Longo Toyota....bin in biz since 1945...
