What do you take for yoru allergies?
I was out and about yesterday in the wind and sun. My eyes are still red, nose stuffy, headache and lethargic. I take Nasalcrom for intranasal use. Supposedly controls allergy symptoms but isn't working too well. What do you allergy sufferers use? Claritin is useless.

flonase....wonderful

I take Claritin when I visit the in-laws. My mom-in-law smokes like a chimney and the particular brand she smokes gives me a headache.
I've also found that Claritin gets rid of hangover headaches for me in minutes. |
Flonase was great when I needed it. I think I've grown out of a lot of my allergies--I was able to mow my lawn yesterday and felt pretty good afterward. Usually I'd be caughing, sneezing, the whole bit.
Claritin made my face itchy and numb. very odd. |
I had the world's worse allergy problem years ago. Lost my spleen, moved to LA, and it got bad. Taking milk out of my diet helped a ton. Having tonsils removed helped a little. Then I came across Bioforce Pollinosan tablets. Unbelievable! Homeopathic, they say you can wean yourself off it over a period of time. For me, that was true.

I use Flonaze or Claritin D...

Flonase and Allegra-D
|
Singular(Sp.?) and Nasonex. Both need two or three days to really get in your system. I'll stop after the second frost.
|
I usually pop a Sudafed, a benadryl and a claritin, and usually feel alright for a few hours.
|
Whiskey and anything on the shelf...
|
I use Clarinex (OTC) and my son uses Flonase and my wife uses Allegra. My daughter doesn't have any allergies...

Claritin
not Claritin D |
I have tried most everything...the only thing that works well for me is Allegra-D.
