I got money from Fl this way. I worked part time at a grocery store when I was in college. Apparently I got some sort of stock deal there that I hadn't known about. Only amounted to a couple hundred dollars for me, but hey.
My mother also got some money this way when my father died. Some old account that neither one of them had known about for years and years. Ended up being a couple of grand.

My ol man passed on thousands from an uncle he never had anything to do with. "I didn't earn it and I never really liked the guy anyway...let someone else have it". I guess pride go'ith before the fall but I could sure use the money before spring!

years ago I found several people money on the Louisiana govt site. found some land for a friend he didn't know his family owned, but there were so many family members involved, he decided to leave it alone. by the time he would have received his share, the lawyers would have taken it all.
