hmmm....wonder how this will turn out.

Be careful though...we don't want to hurt anyone's feelings. You better change it to only one selection: black audi wagon.

By "Porsche" you mean all the Porsche-badged VW's and Audis that you guys drive, right? We all know the only true real Porsche is the 928.

Geeze . .. I totally forgot to put "VW bug" in the list . . . but c'mon, the most popular car EVER produced? Hardly a POS.

hmmm ... SoCal, but they are not the same . . .you sell the 924 short.

In the right conditions, a 924 will vastly out preform say, a 912. . . .like off a cliff; the 924's better aerodynamics and heavy cast-iron engine will bring it quickly to the bottom.

I haven't voted yet. On one hand the early 931/2's had turbo prob's, .. ..bu the later had fixed the prob. The regular 924 . . the pepperwagon. hmmm

The boxster was a huge let-down when it came out, too.

hmmm

924? now that's something you don't see around anymore

I remember once when I was a car stereo installer I royally bunged up the headlight harness on a 924 when I shorted something to ground. Sent smoke coming out of the dashboard. First, and only experience with one of those.

I thought it was pretty cool, you know, the guard's red, leather and smoke!

Island, you should have made it "911 pre '74"...since the '72 and '73 models were close...with the exception of the 73.5 T with CIS. '74 is when the 911 models got ugly. This pretty much continued until the 993. After that? Out came the Prestone bottles, signifying the death of the 911.

Why is the obvious one missing? I think most people would have picked the Cayenne, given the chance. Except various antagonists with nothing better to do than pick fights with the 924 guys.

I want to know who voted 944...I don't care, I just want to know why. It's not that slow. It handles well. It has a Porsche engine, as opposed to others. Not seeing the reasoning behind that one.

I was one of them. You see, it's a love/hate relationship...kind of like having a trophy wife, though I've never had one of those. Maybe a bit like supporting a 34 year old mistress? She's getting long in the tooth, but still is demanding? Hell, I dunno...guess I'll have to mull this one over a bit more...

see "PepperWagon"

why is it picking on the 924's? There has to be a worst. (w/in the porsche family) Outside- Hey, mazda thought the 924 cool enough to copy the body . ... the 924 was very aero. Perhaps due to better air flow thru that giant factory installed dash Crack!

I think I would single out the 74-77 911s. Unfair really since I have never owned one. But I am a biased jerk, so I am ok with that.
