Everyone should do indoor carting.
You can run and run...35-40 mph. Pretty demanding and really tunes you up for a/x. Usually around 6-10 drivers on track at once. In the Bay Area there are two really nice facilities. KT |
Here's a quick run on my shifter:

Awesome video clip Jim! Too fun!!
You aren't getting out of this hobby, are you? Where have you been running your carts? |
[QUOTE]You aren't getting out of this hobby, are you?
Yeah I am. Basically I'm doing good enough now in the track car, the karts are gonna be used for mods. If I wasn't balls deep in the track car, I'd be all over racing these things. They're wicked fast...mine gets my fat a$$ over 80-90 mph:eek: They stop and turn on a dime...tho not @ the same time. We used to run @ Amago...that's where that clip was from. The Mgr and the Indian tribe that owned it had a falling out, and it got turned into a motard track, whatever the heck that is. I didn't even have my foot in it in that clip cuz of the kids on the track. We took the karts to Grainge Motor Circuit a couple of times. That track ROCKS!!! They've got a portion of the track I could take 5th gear (of 6) flat out that was a 180 w/ elevation changes on either end. After the 4th time around, I couldn't keep my head upright no matter what. The G's were just too much. Good times for sure! |
