House hunting in the DR(WARNING: Contains a nude picture)
Well after a few initial visits to the Dominican Republic I've become interested in finding investment properties there. I've looked at $50K condos and $399K almost mansions. I've come to the conclusion that the best way forward is to buy property and build a house. Here are some pix of what I saw:
This is a $200K fixer upper. One block from the beach in Playa Cofresi This is a $100K bungalow, more or less, but the neighborhood was kinda like a trailer park with these houses instead of trailers So I moved on to looking at vacant lots. These were going for $62 per square meter, minimum 5000 sq meters Then it was time for lunch And always time for flirting with the waitress NOTE!!! THIS IS THE NUDE PART and yes, of course, dessert! removed by evil overlord

200k for that huge place! Only problem is that when a revolt comes your house is the first one on fire. To my understanding that is not the safest place.
