I thought so too until I looked at the pictures. Why is it that most of these topless activists have to be so far past their shelf life? My God; I would arrest them too. Maybe they need on-site screeners or something...

On another related note; sex offenders??!! For showing their tits? They get to be lumped together with all the degenerates that abuse children, rape women, and stuff like that? Gimme a break. This kind of over-reaction from prosecutors only serves to undermine (further) our trust in the criminal justice system. Punishment fitting the crime... not.

And the Times has a poll: Do you believe female members of the group Breasts Not Bombs should be allowed to go topless in public protests?

I voted yes. I told my wife yesterday I wanted to join their march. She hit me. :D

First of all, they will not be listed as sex offenders - that was only mentioned as a possibility. The best part of the story was this:

Angered that Glaser and Love could be listed on the sex offender registry if convicted of lewd acts, state Sen. Gloria Romero (D-Los Angeles) joined the protesters before their arrests to announce that she would introduce legislation to decriminalize the baring of breasts in public. "While it is legal for men to go shirtless in public in California," she said, "women risk being classified as sex offenders for baring the same body parts."

I believe in NY it's legal for women to go around topless. Typically they don't because it's usually cold as a witch's tit around there.
