How to deal with SELLER that screws with you?
I went to see car I liked that was reasonably priced. I offered the asking price of the car contingent on inspection. The seller told he was still waiting for the title in the mail, since he just bought the car from his dad.
So i paid $75 for the inspection - everything checks out and I call the seller to confirm the deal. He tells me that's everything is set and that he will call me as soon he gets the title. So 1 week passes and nothing. I call him again to see what's going on... no reply. I then find out that he has relisted the car on Craiglist for a slightly higher price.  what's wrong with people today!? |

Send him a bill...
Follow up in small claims. You had a verbal, that counts for something. Otherwise, nothing you can do that's not juvenile and a waste of time, IMO. JCM

I would bet in his delusional world you are screwing with him as you have not called, are a deadbeat buyer and he cannot wait forever to sell this vehicle.
Would be interesting to hear his excuse though.
