Deadlines
We've made some remarkable progress in Iraq based on setting firm deadlines: voting (remember all those purple fingers), their new constiution, etc.
The fact is, and there is no denying it by any "Lefty" that deadlines have worked very well in Iraq. So I am puzzled as to why we don't have a deadline for X number of Iraqi troops ready to take over for American forces. Of Iraq's 86 battalions, only 1 is battle ready. Why do we not say: We will have 43 battle ready battalions on June 1, 2006? Just like we have deadlines for getting off of welfare and unemployment in this Country, why are we giving the Iraqi military the same kind of deadend deal that lefties everywhere want to give the poor and helpless, which are really the undeserving, lazy and irresponsible? Please, no talk of pulling out, unless contraception is not close at hand. Why do we not have a deadline for some number of Iraqi battalions to meet battle ready standards?

Because "righties" suck at everything they do?
Because "righties" like to complain too much? Because "righties" continue to blame the "leftys" for everything? |
