To Save America

America has always been a unique nation, standing for Liberty and Justice for all. In the 20th Century it was America who stepped in during WW1 to save the western Democracys when they were on the verge of collaspe, It was America that beat back Nazi and Japanese aggression in WW2. It was America that stood off Communist expansion in a protracted Cold War Now we are faced with a NEW and Perilious enemy that knows no national boundaries but is guided by a fanatical, extremist religious ideology. To fight this war we must take unprecedented steps to preserve our Freedom.

Here in the 21 st Century with Weapons os Mass Destruction whose use is so horribe to contemplate, America must do everything in its power to stop there use by those who think nothing of killing themselves for their fanatical beliefs. Faced with this faceless enemy who uses his anonmity to hide among the people, we must gauge the loss of some Freedoms for the common good of maintaining American ideals. To this end the American Government has enacted the Patriot Act, set up a Prisoner of War Camp in Gitmo, holds proven DANGEROUS
enemies of America in unspecified sites and looks the other way when questionable means of extracting information from these Religious fanatics is used. It is for the ultimate preservation of American beliefs and ideals that these methods are used. even the invasion and toppling of the Sadam regime of despotism in Iraq has its place in the scheme of things.

Yet so many American question the the wisedom of using these tatics in combating this fanatical enemy. Don't they realize that it is for the peace and well being of the American people that our Government uses every means at its disposal to protect America and its interests. It is for the GOOD of the American Repblic that we have ventured upon these waters.

And what if an American government morphed into one that many fear might confiscate your weapons and perhaps consider you a threat? Would you be so sanquine about losing our liberties while reflecting in a detention center?

Something to think about. Our govt. is only on our side when they represent us. They may not someday, especially when you entrust them with powers you can't take back. How about we transfer all power to the military? That way, we'll be very secure.

To SAVE American Demcracy we have to do what we have to do...

911 was only the Alarm Clock going off to WAKE the American people up to the DANGER they face...

The flip side of the coin is the divsivness in the American Body Politic...not since the Civil War has America been so divided, and never in the face of such international peril. It is as if one political faction in America is ready to side with the enemy..Abraham Lincoln said, "A house divided against itself can not stand." At some point the Body Politic will have to rally around the flag or face another Civil War...at which time to save America from such a disruptive situation temporary measures may have to be taken to preserve public order.

You and the president are advocating torture. To make matters worse (if that is possible), anyone that doesn't agree is "ready to side with the enemy." The president engages in doublespeak and Cheney skulks around lobbying for the most horrific policy in American history. And they both label the people that oppose torture "the enemy."

And you wonder why we are divided?

Torture is not an American value. Get over it.

We have managed to do very well without becoming the people we are fighting against.

Don't U get it...To insure that the American WAY OF LIFE continues we must use every means available to us...for our enemy has no qualms about beheading Americans at every opportunity presented to him.
