Ok, I will agree that I don't understand Murtha....or anyone who would have us cut and run...making all the current sacrifices worthless. If you can explain it....please do.

I also do not understand the 10 days/10 months. We have been in Korea for 50 years and in Yugoslavia for 10. People in the military die every day, even in peacetime....as do people in almost every profession.

Lastly, what do you mean by "something financial?" Do you meant that Murtha is getting some sort of payoff?

I don't think anyone is questioning anything about Murtha but his judgment. Serving as a Marine did not make him a genius or infallible....It is not like staying at the Holiday Inn Express.

Nah, I'm pretty average ... but it pisses me off when these Neanderthals just indiscriminately slap people around for no reason other than they hold opposing viewpoints. And it makes me realize how intolerant and narrow and mean they are.

Look at Flint, almost within minutes of Murtha giving his heartfelt statement, that jerk is suggesting that Murtha might have Alzheimer’s because he is 80 years old. Or maybe he's just "senile" according to Mr. Flint.

Well, Murtha's 73, a Bronze Star soldier, someone that volunteered for Nam when he was safely home, and someone that does not deserve that kind of crap, from Flint or from thousands like Flint doing the dirty work of destroying admin opponents.

Make no mistake, guys like that would let you rot in some brig, and laugh at you if you asked for a “liberal” trial. That’s what gives me the shudders about these people, they’d crush me and you and anyone else that gets in their way, without a second thought.
