What the CGT lacked was Elephant Racing parts...woulda been game over for the electric... :D

Exactly. I'm sure a number of gasoline-powered open wheeled race cars are quite competitive against the CGT, Ferrari or whatever. But you can't take your wife out to dinner in a go-cart.
