Anyone know how to liquidate some lithographs?

I own a few Patrick Nagel Lithographs that I need to sell. I have commerative #10 and Estate Editions #1, #2 and #3. They are framed so getting them to galleries is quite difficult.

Any thought? Ebay didn't work and the gallery I bought them from said they'd take them back for what I paid for them if I trade up 100%... That would be a $10k painting!

Ebay is not a good place to sell fine art. There have been a few online art auction sites that have cropped up... I think Sotheby's had one. Then there's Butterfield's...

An auction will take 15% or more, and a gallery, 50%.

There's probably some place online that you can successfully advertise the Nagels. As you know, the best sale will be directly to a buyer. You can try here: http://ewanted.com/pw/Art-15000

David,
Did you try the Wentworth Galleries. I think there is one in the Mall right in your town.

I bet thats where you got them huh?

Yup! That's the place. I went in there looking for Nagel posters and left with a very light wallet. Fast forward 15 years and these don't fit my house or lifestyle anymore.
