On the way to Grandma's house.........
Ok, After crossing the country today airbourne (work), I'll get in my large Grumman stepvan and drive up Interstate 5 from Van Nuys to Lincoln (up near Sacramento) to Grandma's (my Mom) house for turkey dinner tomorrow.
The fact that I am picking up another motorcycle close by is irrelevant, I am simply multi-tasking. I'll be southbound right after dinner back to LaLaLand. Have to fly first thing Friday. What are your plans and what are you driving?

Might make a day trip SURFari down south... but other than that I'll be in the South Bay all weekend... 1) Parents house.... 2) brother in town... 3) relentessly hitting on all the out-of-state gals that didn't go home for the holidays... =)

Will take the 914 out to the sisters place in Loomis, near stupid, stupid stinkin" Lincoln(No offense meant, this is what a friend from there calls it. I rememeber when Lincoln was a gas station and a couple of farmers), then to Mom's in Sacto.

I remember the same about Lincoln. She is at the DelWebb thing. Motion; Yep. Hopelessly. Am taking a friend's K1100LT up to SAC for him, and picking up an '85 Honda V65 Magna. Looks like the day it came off of the showroom floor. Y'all drive safe out there.

Loading two kayaks on the truck and headed for new (to me) waters. Will most likely meet the boys up on Mulhulland in the AM and then head south to Long Beach via PCH.

Does this mean the ex's bedroom is vacant for the weekend? Maybe you could hookup in Long Beach and the kayaks could stay on the car.....

I'll be taking one of my boats that I wouldn't leave outside or unattended. Not likely to find anyone who could tempt me into leaving it on the truck overnight.

You guys are lucky! For us its turkey on base if that, and all in Doha! Then back to Bahrain where we can have some of brother Jack's squeezins and a nice bed again. Hey Kevin, whats going on with the sailing? Done anything yet? Hope you like it, as its a lot of fun. JoeA

I've decided to not trade for the 14footer. She bragged about how she got it just to screw her ex and didn't really even want it. I'll get one with less bad karma attached and try to get on the water by summer. I've definitly been bitten by the sailing bug though.
