Thanksgiving started out kinda bad.
 

Slid on an icy road into a van driven by a handicapped guy. He walked and talked just fine so he may have a heart condition or something. No injuries but still...
Officer was cool and didn't give me a ticket although he could have with Michigan's laws about rear end collisions. We were coming to a red light and the van started to slide and then we hit the ice and I had to choose between a phone pole and the van. I don't think we were going more than 20 MPH. ROFL!! :D Sorry about the truck though. Glad no one was hurt. At least the damage doesn't look too bad.

Think I would have picked the telephone pole - it can't sue you claiming all kinds of back and neck pain -

The pole was on my wife's side. I would've been in trouble for a long time for that but I understand what you mean.
I thought about the lawsuit after getting back on the road. The guy told the officer that he had no injuries and was walking around with no problems.
I am taking the truck in this morning to get it fixed up. I was going to get the parts myself and not turn it in but it looks like the radiator support is tweaked a bit. Oh well, that's why we pay the premiums.

I'm glad it was not the Porsche, and that no one was hurt.

Did he have out of state plates? I almost bumped some people from California who decided to just sit at a stop sign and decide which way to go. Don't they know most people in Michigan just roll through those stop signs?;)

You can fix sheetmetal. Glad to hear that the other driver was not injured, nor was anyone in your car.

Been there and done that, it adds up eventually and is called experience.
