Tell me about Class C RV's
Since I live 1/2 way across the country from family and I plan on doing overnight track trips, I have been considering a class-C RV. There are so many manufacturers out there and I gotta figure there is a lot of differences between them. I am looking at Fleetwood, Four Winds, Winnebago, Jamboree, etc.
Please tell me the dirt on these. I am looking at 24-26 footers with a V10 for the towing capacity. Any particular units I should shy away from? I'll be looking at used units, 1997-2003 in the 20-30K range. TIA! -B |
You say V10, so Ford is your only choice? I've seen a few Class C's now built on the Kodiak GM C-4500/5500 chassis where you can get the Duramax diesel and Allison trans. Look into it. More power, better fuel economy, heavier duty chassis.

I had heard rumors that the Chevy chassis were not as 'good' as the Ford...but yes, I was looking at gasoine motors. That diesel sounds really interesting, though!
Come on guys, I know some of you have got to have one of these toys...!! |
Why are you looking for RV? I'm right here.
Sorry couldn't pass it up |
