Poll: Where to stay in LV in March

It looks like the Red Rock ain't gona be done in time for the March get together. So U boyz an gurls have choichs...

If U all decide to stay on the Strip your going to have to come to some kind of conclusion as to where and how much money you wana spend per night. You can go Excaliber for a modest amount or Mandalay Bay, or Belagio if you got the Bucks.

I am not familar with the pernight costs at any of these hotels at the moment..I NEED SOME DIRECTION AS TO WHAT THE GROUP WANTS TO DO???? Its your visit....

I think the Mandalay Bay would be a good choich as it is at the end of the strip and is closest to Pahrump for a day at the Track...

The choices off the Strip I would think is the Suncoast or Rampart Casino (Mariott Hotles).... Both are nice facilities and have alot of upscale restruants within a mile or two...Pf Changs, Roys, Claim Jumper etc...Both are located in Summerlin which is upscale Vegas...and room rates should be cheaper.. and access to the Strip and Downtown is OK..

Also HOW MANY PEOPLE HAVE DECIDED TO COME???? I NEED A ROUGH ESTIMATE????

.

Off strip all the way. Wife and I went to Vegas on a business trip (little bit of business, lots of fun) about 6 months ago and stayed at the MGM Grand. It was our second time in Vegas and I have to say the strip scene got a little old after a day or so (we were there 5 days). Highlight of the trip was going down to Fremont Street to the old casinos and shooting craps down there. Talk about fun! All the regular gamblers go down there, in my opinion much more interesting personalities to meet than what is usually at the strip casinos. Also the odds and such are MUCH better downtown than at the Strip. If I was to go again I would seriously consider staying at the Wynn (that building is beautiful) and going downtown to gamble.
