Anyone else foolish enough to sit in the front row?
 

Went to a variety show in Vegas and my wife insisted on sitting in the front row again. I don't know why but everytime we see a live show, I get pulled onto the stage and humiliated. I swear they must look for the most fearful, uncomfortable looking dude in the crowd to call up.

Once, we went to a comedy show on a cruise ship and I had just gotten the funkiest haircut from the ship's barber. Motherf***ing comedian wouldn't leave me alone! B@st@rd.

I sat in the front row at Blue Man Group in Chicago a few years ago.

I got hit in the face with what appeared to be cold oatmeal.

I have seen that, and so we always try to sit at least 3 rows back. I, too, would feel out of place on the stage.

Sat in the front row at a Key West drag-show. WOW is all I can say. I kept myself and the wife off stage (big $$ bribes go a long way) but my buddies wife wasn't so lucky. I still remind him of that one.....good times:)

I sit in the front row at the dollar bar. Always.

those people like to pick on the good looking guys....errr...nevermind.

I wouldn't mind being brought up, so tned to sit on the front row. :)

Went to Paris in '76. Went to the Crazy Horse. Tried out my best high school French on the host. Got seated in the front row. If you know what the Crazy Horse is, you understand I was in heaven.

BTW, my (then) wife was more than enthusiastic about ogling the beyond-perfect bodies on stage.

OTOH, whenever I go to a comedy club or improv group, no matter where I sit, I get called up on stage.

Maybe it's the rainbow-colored "afro" and the John 3:16 cardboard sign...
