Speaking from no experience and no wife for that matter. Have you tried another Porsche, you know as a family gift?

Got her a two Reale silver coin pendant that I picked up from the treasure hunter himself in Key West. It comes from the Spanish ship the "El Cazador" which went down in the Gulf in 1784. The loss of the ship caused Spain to default to France on the "Louisiana Purchase" and the U.S. picked up the default and bought the option on the purchase. If the ship hadn't sunk we might be speaking French or Spanish now (actually, I think we do speak Spanish). The treasure hunter picked up the rights to salvage from Lloyds of London after several other salvage companies went bankrupt. They tried diving bells, salvage subs and lots of $$$ stuff. He went in with a clam shell and went dredging and recovered several million by dropping and dragging.

BTW, Craig Boyd, the salvager sells these for $350 with the gold surround. They sell in Key West for double that for an original and close to his price for "replicas" that are cast from salvaged silver from the same era. Craig's website isn't real good, but you can contact him at bpkcaptc@aol.com or PM me and I'll give you his phone number. He's a real salvager, not one of these high fluff ones.

I have no freaking idea. Our 22nd wedding anniversary is next week and I haven't bought a gift for that either.

Walter Williams, guest hosting for Rush answered the best I've ever heard to that question. A woman caller asked what he was getting his wife. He responded that he looks around the home, then tries to seek out a need that needs filling. For instance, his wife has heart trouble. Her doctor suggested no heavy lifting. So, showing the tenderness and concern he always shows, he bought her a child sized snow shovel, so the scoops of snow wouldn't weigh too much when she shovels the driveway and walk.

My wife wants a $23K necklace from Tiffanys.

Hope she likes the SSIs I bought her.

Of course she'll love the SSIs... who wouldn't?

My wife has too much jewelry, and she never wears it, anyway. Not much makeup, either. It took a lot of convincing that she's more beautiful without it, but heck it's true. Too many women believe the messages put out by marketing people.

But she loves penguins, and the other gentle animals at the Woodland Park Zoo and the Seattle Aquarium. So... with her approval, I've made arrangements for us to get up close and personal, and help feed the animals. She's incredibly excited about it. I hope it goes well, but if nothing else, this will certainly be memorable.

Was in Bermuda a while back and found some of the relics from the Atocha, the wreck that Mel Fisher pulled up. Bought some of the pieces of eight and a old musket ball. Make very nice gifts!

Absolutely nothing!

Well, except the new house in our near future. Mutual agreement between us.

Got her a 3/4 length leather coat. I looked in our closet, and realized that all of her coats were from high school. She badly needed an adult coat. I took her to pick one out last weekend. The real gift was me staying patient for three hours and four stores while she picked one out.

Don't know yet,but the Penguins sounds neat.Years ago I did something like it,
Beluga whales (white one) she got some good info, feed and swim with them. She thought she was going to a wedding.I even let her buy a dress for something I knew she wasn't going to attend. It was beautiful to see her so happy.

Light christmas big aniversary (Jan 20th). Got her an XM radio, some CD's, just stupid stuff.

I get hit with Christmas on the 25th, my moms b-day on the 30th, my sisters b-day on Jan 10th, kelly's on the 18th, our aniversary on the 20th. Broke by at the beginning of the year, not a good start.

Well, they drive great if pampered properly. The overall maintenance can be very high with some but the elimination of it is more expensive if they have baggage.

Some are more relaibel than others - pretty much a crap shoot. Check out the privious years model and best to see where the manufacturing began. Some models tend to get wide in the rear - not thats a bad thing.

Make sure the makers of the model your interested in are some what reliable and built this unit with love and not a drunk fest or you will have long term performance issues.

All in all, they can be fun if they have a good sense of humor and will allow you to ride them now an then in inclimate weather.

Definite PPI needed before purchase.
