Your not going to believe this....

Ok, this is the 'the impossible happened' thread. Stuff that has happened to you that no one would ever believe, but its true. I'll start.....

When I was about 17, I was with my girlfriends family in a hotel. Her little sister wanted some soda, so the parents ask me to take the kid and find the soda machine. We find the machines by the pool, but we discover that we have no change on us (days before the dollar machines). We are standing in front of the machine, and the kid says, "Aw man, I wish I had a Coke." At that exact moment, a god damn Coke falls right out of the machine! We didn't touch it. The kid and I just looked at each other and laughed. Bizarre.....

some time ago, I was at this hotel, trying to get a soda out of a soda machine by the pool, a Coke to be specific. And I put in all the change I had, and still could not get the damn Coke to come out. So I got frustrated and went to the hotel office to get them to come to help me out. When we return to the soda machine, they opened it up and checked, it was as if I had never put in the money, like some one else walked up and managed to get the Coke I paid for......I see this guy and this little kid girl walking away with a Coke......almost like they were taunting me about my missing Coke.....Bizarre.

i read this thread once about a coke machine that went all haywire and after dispensing free bevies for a lucky few it went on a rampage. it killed about 15 people, and maimed countless others in trying to recoup its losses from the freebies it has so foolishly dispensed in a moment of unexplained generosity.

They say its still out there looking to avenge it laps in judgment.

I heard of a gas pump doing the same thing, the deal was, the major oil companies along with chainy and dubya had the super secret materials development group invent this thing - but like most good ideas it had a few fatal flaws. It was able to recover $327.85 from the folks that pumped fuel without paying for it but it cost the gov and major oil cos 1.5 billion to develop it. Some of the bodies were never recovered, but most are in undisclosed countries most likely being held as slave labor for software tech services calls and the customer service folks at American Express.

Well, I do have a story - this past summer, when the gas prices were going up and up and up, I was at Pocono Raceway for a PCA DE event. Went to tank up and as I was pulling into the gas station, they were increasing the post from $3.12 to $3.14 a gallon for high test.

As I was tanking up, I noticed that the gallon indicator was spinning much faster than I was used to. Turns out in their haste to charge more $$ for the Porsche guy, they missed the amount by a decimal place or two - I wound up getting nearly 10 gallons of gas for around $3.14! The price, as indicated on the pump, was $0.314 a gallon.

When I was very poor about 10 yrs. ago, I was walking to work on Cap. Hill and a newspaper vending machine ate my quarter. I didn't have another and was pretty irate, kicking and beating the machine. Just like that kid in Animal House when a Playboy bunny came through his window, Porter Goss (then an unknown Congressman, now CIA director) walked up to me, put a quarter in the same machine and handed me a newspaper. Yes, this really happened.

There's a hack where you hit a special sequence of buttons and get a free coke, but I don't like coke, so I didn't bother to look it up.

I forgot who posted the video awhile back, but Bush was answering a media question (I think it was regarding Osama), and when GWB replied that it was discussed daily in his meetings w/ Porter, his (Porter's) 'look of bewilderment', (raising of eyebrows, etc.) was absolutely priceless. I'm sure he caught hell for that unrehearsed public display of honesty. He's got to learn to keep a straight face (while lying) if he wants that job

When I was in college I spent many long hours in the computer lab working on programming projects. One late night I get hungry so I head downstairs to the vending machine. I put my money it, and hit the buttons for the candy bar I want. The dispenser turns, but the candy bar doesn't fall. So I kick, and hit the machine a couple time, but the vending machine is big and heavy, and doesn't move. I'm relatively strong, and so I started to rock the machine. Over a dozen items fell out, including my candy bar. So I grabbed my candy bar went upstairs, and told all the other students in the lab that something was wrong with the machine downstairs, and a bunch stuff of came out when I paid for my candy bar. So one of the guys went down, and came back with both arms full of chips, candy, etc.

That is my candidate for one of the funniest responses to a post this year. Well done Sir.

What you've just said is one of the most insanely idiotic things I have ever heard. At no point in your rambling, incoherent response were you even close to anything that could be considered a rational thought. Everyone in this room is now dumber for having listened to it. I award you no points, and may God have mercy on your soul!
