The "T" used to mean glowing tritium vials in the markers and/or hands. If the watch actually has that (sometimes the "T" is just cosmetic) then that seems like an awesome price. If not, it still seems like a good price.
I'm going to buy a watch from Howard in the coming year. Right now I'm still waiting for my Seiko diver to come back from the watchmaker. |
I really like the Tag Heuer Carrera- being advertised quite a bit these days by Jeff Gordon. Anywhere between $1200 and $1700 on Ebay. Carrera connection is kinda neat.
Maybe someday! http://forums.pelicanparts.com/uploa...1134853244.jpg |
That's a really sweet watch.

Omega Speedmaster Pro one of my all time favorite watches. The history of how nasa came to use the watch really makes the watch special.

Steve,
Excellent watch and one that I still need to find. They hold their value very well and are not cheap. JoeA |
You can buy a current military issue tritium watch for $79 that is a hand wound, a basic battery powered that is $99, or a less basic tritium watch that is a little more. They have a nice plain look, but are just very basic watches. You can see them at www.westcoastime.com.

Interesting...Kienzle is the parent company to VDO and they have some nice watches:

Skagen. Accurate, thin and light. Titanium case with SS band. Try one on at Sharper Image. You'll see what I mean. But less than $100, so if you have a small winky...http://forums.pelicanparts.com/uploads6/11134971645.jpg
