Bugatti veyron video

I know its off topic but i thought people would like to see this. the link is to a clip from evo magazines website. EVO magazine is a UK based car mag. you may need to register to see the clip. the online content is superb. the mag is THE best drivers mag in the UK. Im prtty sure that if you dig about in the archives there will be loads of stuff on the 911 and CGT. they like a RUF of two as well!

click here for the veyron clip

Sorry, looks like the clip is supported by auto express.

i think that maybe auto express own evo! not sure, but the archive section is superb.

1000 bhp not withstanding, the front end of that thing is butt ugly. The opening in the middle of the front bumper reminds me of the entrance to a dog house.

some classics are best left unrevived-their glory days long surpassed by evolution of time and designs. The veyron is a futile exercise of building a totally impractical supercar. I'll be impressed if they went racing with it at LeMans and win outright like the MaClaren F1 did in 1995. For much less than 1 million euros one can buy modified 911 turbos capable of doing 250 mph (like the 9ff version being tested to 243mph recently). For the money I'd get the 9ff, ruf rt12, and C-GT and maybe have some change left over for a lambo gallardo or ferrari 360.

fair point tshih but surely there has to be someone pushing the envelope? i'd be the first to agree with you when it comes to choosing other cars to buy than a veyron but 'a futile excercise'? for the people that can genuinely afford a veyron it is a great proposition. round my neck of the woods there must be two murcialagos/gallardos, a CGT and an enzo, more astons and 911's and other tasty stuff than you'd ever care for. superb cars but not really that elite nowdays. Im looking forward to the day that a veyron rolls by me whilst im walking down the road or, better still, i get to see one parked up so i can go all schoolboyish and start pacing round it, looking at it from every angle thats what this car is all about, as well as boasting the figures. its just doing it on a different level than everything else and i think that lots of people have trouble with that.

They should bring it to the ring, give it to Hans Stuck and film it

I can hardly wait to see a video where there is more than remving from trailer at night and then driving 30 mph...except at the end where they buzzud it a bit and the comment "whaoah minoa that wuz fahst"

But thanks - if you find a track video, post it!

The Laguna Seca video was disappointing. With a 1000 bhp motor, they couldn't turn that cheese-ball music off and let us hear the dragon breathe. Video 2 was a little better, but I'd like to hear that beast from the outside. I still don't like the dog house.
