Great, something else to avoid next time I am up there. The Dragon would be incredible if you had it to yourself and knew no cars, bikes, trucks, RV's, etc were coming at you. Last time I was there (on a Wednesday around 10am) I was driving the speed limit and a Yamaha R1 just about hit me head on. He was in the middle of my lane going much faster than he should have been around a blind corner. If I would have been two seconds faster he would have been in my lap--there was no where for me to go. He had the biggest oh $hit look on his face when he saw me I have ever seen (yes I could see his face we were that close).
So Pelicans who frequent the Dragon, be very careful playing up there. I honestly thought the Cherohalla Skyway was just as good with the higher speed limit and no traffic. If anyone ever has a chance to run the Cherohalla Skyway and Tail of the Dragon do it you will never forget it. Just be careful, you don't want to run off--it would really ruin your vacation.
