Tracks to Drive Before You Die
How about a list of tracks you would love to drive before you oversteer into the afterlife?
here are some of mine, in no particular order 1. Mt. Panorama, Australia- great scenery and elevation changes. 2. Spa Francorchamps, Belgium- two words, Eau Rouge 3. Nordschlife, Germany- well, duh 4. Circuit de la Sarthe, France- for the history and big honking straights I'd also love a chance at some Tour de Corse stages in France, and to run the Dakar Rally, and of course, the old Targa Florio and Mille Miglia would be cool also. Lets see some of yours.

As a rookie track guy, I say ANY track. But if pressed for a name, I'd say Laguna Seca, in my car, during the historics.

The New England Dragway.
![]() Actually, I'd like to try the Sarthe (closed off), the Nuburgring, pretty much things that have been mentioned. I've been to Lime Rock, and it seems like a fun course that I'd try. For a famous course, it's in my backyard, too, relatively speaking... (2 hours) I'd love to try the Cannonball Run, though. But that isn't quite a racetrack. I'd also like to drive Route 6 from Cape Cod to California. I've heard it's an interesting drive. To do it in the 944 would be an amazing feat, and a lot of fun too. |

1. Nurburgring (Dead predictable realy!)
2. The Isle of Man TT course 3. Spa francorchamps 4. Laguna Seca 5. Targa Floria 6. Bathhurst 7. Monza 8. Suzuka I would also like the public roads which make up the Manx Rally, the Monte Carlo Rally and the Tour De Course, closed so I can live out my World Rally fantasies, not too much to ask for is it! |
