1. Remove flat-6
2. Replace with v-12

I like this complete conversion kit, it will cost $500k or more but IMO its worth it. See picture below.

One of our PCA members has an SC with a complete B&B setup that sounds very Ferrari-like.
Seriously though, why would you want your Porsche to sound like a Ferrari? It's not a Ferrari.

Indeed I have heard that bens sound quite like the other, less cool, prancing horse brand.

Ah...c'mon guys! Why would we want to lower our standards to have our cars sound like Ferrari's! Geez!

take out the back seat
put another flat 6 in front of the first one
modify the crankcases to run both engines on one crankshaft (if tractor pullers can do it with hemi's, YOU can do it with a Porsche
run the second engine 90 degrees out of phase with the first
put in a steve wong chip (chips?)
cut holes in your airbox (airboxes?)
put 600 lbs of lead in the boot to keep the front wheels on the ground and go to the dragstrip
sell the result on EscamBay for a ridiculous amount of money

Get a set of SSI headers and a MB911 dual in dual out muffler and you will forget you ever heard or wanted that FERRARI sound to begin with.

RUF'ed Porsche Pics

I have Bens Dual in, dual out with SSI's and I think you would be hard pressed to get a better sound out of a 911.

I have this as well and totally agree. It actually sounds more Ferrari-ish to my ears. That hollow, ringing sound that turns into a high pitched wail that full stainless systems make as revs rise reminds me very much of F360 sounds. Not the same but some similarities for sure.

A real trick would be to make a ferrari sound like a 911...that's a better use of resources...

1. Get one of those Ferrari sounds CDs from your local Ferrari dealer
2. Insert into CD player
3. Roll down windows
4. Play CD at high volume while you idle through traffic

Isn't the real Ferrari sound the rustling noise made while cash flows out of the wallet during a scheduled service?
