Just started watching the first season on DVD. It's a BBC series. One of the very best shows I've ever seen...

That show is nothing short of intense! I can't quite recal all the specifics in this one particular scene, but to get one of the agents to give up his position, the "bad guys" stuck the arm of his female partner into a fry vat for a few minutes, cooking the flesh right on the bone...YOWCH!!!!
