Tell where the problem is with this car? The entire passanger compartment is in tact. It looks like who ever went for that ride most likely faired well. Unless they were sans seat belt.

I am not fighting to defend the MINI. It makes an awesome track car. Its a lot like a Corvette it can make a bad driver look good, a good drive look great and a great driver look like a god.

I had a P-car instructor in my MINI at a Phil Whicks driving school and he was freaking out how hard it would brake and how nimble it was. I was throttle stearing it around turns, there was an 80+ mph turn and I was actually making the rear step out sideways to get the slip I wanted then punching it through the turn.

I duly sold it after that track day. I want a car that is a challange to drive. Not one I can ride around the track in.

This would be the best place to go research your concern about doors flipping open and roll overs.
