BBC for real news, FOX for laughs or when something US-centric is going on.

for reality based news: BBC or "the News Hour" (public TV)
for middle of the road-ish, entertainment based news: MSNBC CNN
for the best news, corporate money can buy: FOX

:D

Fox all the way, at least they express both points of view. If you watch CNN, MSNBC, etc you wouldn't think that conservatives even exist.

NYT, WSJ

BBC. Only one with any credibility.

Love it! Also, as good a source as any these days.

Anyone who gets their news from just one source is asking to be brainwashed... Watch "special report" with Britt Hume on Fox, and the PBS news hour with Jim Lehrer, at a minimum, and you'll get some balance.

I get all the news I need while waiting to check out at the supermarket.

BTW what ever happened to batboy? And Elvis as an alien was the only reasonable explanation.

Can't you give some more alternatives for those of us who don't get their news from TV?

I get my news from print (NYT, WSJ, Wash Post, Economist), Internet (research and data sources, sometimes Christian Science Monitor, sometimes foreign news sites like BBC), and radio (NPR).

Nowadays, the only things I watch on TV are motorsports, Guns & Ammo TV, History/Discovery/Science Channel, Military Channel, and unfortunately the Disney Channel (alas we only have one TV).

Drudge Report. Because they don`t manipulate or generate the information, just provide it from multiple sources.

I get my news straight from the sources...Of course, I talk to the PIOs (public information officers) most of the time I'm at work!

My mom. She would never lie to me.

I get a lot of my news right here. You guys post as quickly as any source and by the time it's debated some, the "balance" comes around.

I also like to read a weekly like Time. While gathering info and compiling stories for the next issue, they get things rounded off to something that resembles the facts, albeit with somewhat of a liberal slant, but not too bad, IMHO.
