saving money ;)
On my Aprilia RS 250 I had a GP tech fairing bracket break where the stud for my steering damper passes through the thin tubing. I have already purchased a new one but I figured I could improve their design a bit. It's sort of what I do
So with $400 worth of machine time I fixed a $130 part for myself. Anyway it was a fun way to pass the day. All that is left is to saw the broken end off. Next project $200 foot pegs Any other gold plated repairs out there? Last edited by 5axis; 12-19-2005 at 02:09 PM.. |

Hey, I'm impressed...how much cooler could it be than to be able to look at a broken part like that, then just say: "No biggie, I'll just whittle one out!"
