How prevalent is the Mob in NJ?
My brother lives in NJ, just outside NYC. He keeps telling me he's planning on opening a reatail wine and beer store. Sounds like an invitation for organized crime to come knocking. I know little more than I see on TV...how likely is it that Tony Soprano's crew might be a problem?

Heavily regulated, low margin business. I dont think there would be a problem. I would worry about the customers.

There is no such thing as the mob in NJ.
...if there were, they're the nicest bunch of people I ever met! -Z. |
I'll do my patented lendaddy imitation:
"What mob? You don't seriously believe there is still a mob, do you? Where do you get this stuff? DId you pull it out of you as*, or did you read a cereal box this morning?" (I'm bored today) |
It seems the favorite hobby for the mob is to get involved in the state government. Hence, the real reason for McGreevey's resignation and the rounding up of his various henchmen.
Both parties in the state have various shady ties. |
