So...What is Everyone Getting For Christmas?

Things I'm pretty sure I'm getting for Christmas:

A 19.2 Volt Cordless Craftsman Drill
A set of those cool metric ratchets that are the size of wrenches

What is everyone else guessing they will get?

Burnin' oil 12-22-2005 11:48 AM

I'm going right now to buy me a belt sander.

EdT82SC 12-22-2005 11:53 AM

I'm hoping for Pelican gift certificates again.

nostatic 12-22-2005 11:53 AM

Drago...one thing's for sure...anybody tries to ride your bike, they'd better grow a bit! Funny aside...after the Trail Blazers won their only NBA championship, back in '77...some A-hole
stole Bill Walton's bicycle. I mean, like anybody shorter could ride it????

Oh, to keep on topic...at my age I'm tough to buy for. Have everything I need, nothing I lust for. Cindy did, after my "hint" of showing her the ad in the "Esses", order a set of repro rear shelf luggage straps in brown leather. The originals I bought back in the 60's, black, were getting some leather rot.

Nathans_Dad 12-22-2005 12:32 PM

New set of Ping I5 irons, already custom fit and in my bag!! Wahoo!

widebody911 12-22-2005 12:43 PM

Stuff I know I'm getting 'cause I bought it myself:

1957 oval window bug body
W decklid (the irony!)
semaphore posts
sunroof clip
hoops/bows for my single cab

Rot 911 12-22-2005 12:48 PM

Hopefully I will be getting some sleep and not get called out at 2 in the morning because someone decided Christmas Eve is a good time to kill somebody.

Legion, if those gifts are from your family, then you are richer than you could ever imagine.

legion 12-22-2005 01:35 PM

Yes, those are from my family. I am very lucky.

We are going down to Nashville to spend Christmas with my dad. We go every-other year. If we don't go down to see him, he spends Christmas alone.

vash 12-22-2005 01:42 PM

i am hoping for a ipod, and a surefire flashlight, the one with the tactical bezel. now that is what i think is in the small longish box.

new springs, new cab top installed (had the top since Aug), BF Torino Seat, some really good Japanese green tea, and potentially some other small stuff. Wifey is getting a ton of stuff movado watch, bracelet and ink pen from Tiffanys, Treo 650 PDA/cell phone thingy, and a bunch of small stuff. We decided to spoil ourselves a bit this year.

So lets see the Miata! I haven't seen a pic since you bought it.

austin552 12-23-2005 04:53 PM

Man, got the home audio 7.1 preamp in the shop and I am sweating hard. All I want for Xmas is to get the heart of my HT back. Got some DVD audio and super audio Cd's waiting...

azasadny 12-23-2005 05:41 PM

My grandfather finally moved in with us after 18 months of home renovation/addition project. I'm thankful that we can have him live with us and make his last time here a little more fun. I can't think of a better Christmas gift than that! (at least for me and my family)...

campbellcj 12-23-2005 11:15 PM

Honestly the main thing I'm getting is the look on my son's face (and hopefully pics/video) when he sees his first bicycle under the tree!

Plus, I'm actually off work next week and going on a quick ski trip (although no small-biz person is ever actually "off"). First time in many years I have taken more than 3 days in a row...

Cheers to that! We should all be as fortunate to have family like you when we are at that point in our lives.

tabascobobcat 12-24-2005 05:32 PM

I got my Christmas hummer this morning before Jr. woke up.

David 12-24-2005 05:45 PM

I'm probably not getting much (I've spent enough on the 930 in the last year that I don't deserve anything more). My 11YO son's getting a computer so I can actually use mine when I want. My wife is getting me to start on a large house project now that the 930 is almost complete (I'm a gemini, so I can't actually complete a project before I start the next one  ).

You know you are a bastard for telling us this! :)

Was feeling kinda nice then saw this... that is the perfect way to start off every day, but especially Christmas!

Anyway, a few Cuban cigars might be under the tree today and already bought myself the Heuer Monaco watch a few weeks ago. Heading to a lady friends house later today and not sure what she has in mine but can think of several things! :)

azasadny 12-26-2005 08:03 AM

My grandfather is moved in just in time...

Here's my grandfather on Christmas Eve. I think he's happy in his new place (our house). We've been waiting for this for awhile and finally got everything done so he can live with us...
