Auto-TXT signs Jaguar/Land Rover to provide Security System
Auto-Txt has signed Jaguar/LandRover and is to provide their security systems for their cars from 2006 forward. It is the only British Insurance appoved Thatcham Catagory 5 system. The system is able to disable a car from a remote source. (Jaguar means FORD)
RDM has invested 4.5 M Lbs in a manufacturing facility, and are to start providing the systems in January 2006. The Auto-txt system will start appearing in the USA later in 2006, when the Dealers are able to service the product. Auto-txt is part of RDM Group in the UK. Their consulting/design arm is called Insight/RDM. This is the arm of RDM that my cousins Ltd has a piece of and I have a 5% piece of his Ltd. My cousin is one of the chief designers of the product. http://www.rdmgroup.co.uk/ Auto-txt also has other telematic capabilities as I have outlined before...Pay per mile auto insurance and pay per mile road usage... One of the key issues in designing the auto-txt pay per mile systems is to provide privacy to the users...
