Just received this picture of a French custom job that is 'meant' to look like a 911! - It is rear engined, it is air cooled, and it (unfortunately) probably cost someone lot of time and / or money. Beyond that, the similarities end!.

I would bet money that the reason that particular camera angle was chosen was because it revealed the car at its best.
