Post OT-Screen Shots

I thought it would be cool if we posted screen shots and specs on our computers

amd 233 overclocked to 250, 80MB ram, cd burner, and Mandrake linux 7.2 with kde 2.1beta2 as my GUI

we can have this deleted or we can be mature... its up to ya'll

Thank god. I thought I was the only person in the world that runs Linux. I will have to get a screen shot.

Athlon 1.0ghz T-bird
128DDR 266
2 4.0 gig baracua SCSI's in RAID 0 configuration.
2 20gb Maxtors UDMA66 Have to force udma66 on VIA133 chipset with ide0=ata66 ide1=ata66

Acer 2x6x CDRW SCSI emulation set up for this in kernel
Samsung 8X DVD
OMS CVS build for DVD support
OMI CVS build for nice GUI interface
DXR3 CVS build for hollywood magic hardware decoder card for DVD

RH7.1
Kernel 2.4.5
CVS build Xserver /w/ DRI for Voodoo 5 5500
CVS build GLide3 /w/ mmx & 3dnow enabled
CVS build of KDE2.x

You should think about using everybuddy in place of Kaim.

Actually i did use everybuddy a while back, but... i never talked to anyone on yahoo, or msn, just ICQ and AIM... and it got kind of confusing. and i like the clean appearence of KAIM plus it lets me use fonts, and see fonts..... unless everybuddy is alot better now. What i would really love is a AIM client that docked in the system tray... I hadent upgraded in FOREVER so everything i run is still older. I need to get a better computer but all my money is going toward clothes, and a new car...

it's got a P3 450 with 320 ram, DVD, CDRW, 10 gig, 8mb 3d card, running on win 98. The other system is my laptop. It's an IBM a22E. It's got a P3 800 with 192 ram, DVD, 18.5 gig, 14 inch TFT display, Ethernet, 56k, 8mb S3 card, running both win 2000 and ME. The screenshot is from the laptop.

Which One?? I got'em from a 486 to a 750 athlon. The Athlon has 256 MB PC133, 9 Gig U2 SCSI hdd, 32x SCSI cdrom, internal SCSI zip drive (Get the recurring SCSI theme), 19" monitor, win2k server w/active dir. installed (used for expermentation). The P.O.S. laptop is a AMD K6/2 400 with 160 MB PC100 and a 4.3 gig hdd running SuSE 6.3. There are others that make up the home network that I won't bore everyone with. I do computer networking (mcse) for a living, that si why I have so many machines laying arounc. I crash the net at home before I do in the one at work.

I love PC hardware:

Athlon AXIA 1ghz@1.3Ghz
Abit KT7-RAID
Radeon 32DDR
512mb ram
30gb IBM HD
Plextor CD-RW

Anyway, here is my screenshot. I run Windows 2000 Professional. I also use a program called webshots which cycles my cool p-car pictures onmy desktop. I recommend it.
